The Movie "Die Wilden Hühner und die Liebe" - World Premiere in Cologne

On 25 March 2007, the second adaptation of Cornelia`s German best-seller series “Die Wilden Hühner“ (The Wild Chicks) had its world premiere in Cologne. This time "Die Wilden Hühner und die Liebe" (Wild Chicks in Love) was made into a movie. The first Wild Chicks movie (Wild Chicks) was seen by more than 1.1 million fans.

The filming for the second Wilde Hühner movie started last summer in Germany. 1 October was the last day of shooting.
The producer Uschi Reich had sent us a little report from the set:

"On 24 July, the filming of the second Wild Chicks movie started in Cologne. Now the "Chicks" have moved to Munich, where we`ll shoot the indoor scenes (for example the theatre scenes, where the Wild Chicks will stage Shakespeare`s "A Midsummer Nights`s Dream". We`ll shoot until 1 October, so that the movie hopefully will be released next March.

The filming is - as it is always the case when children and teenagers play the main characters - quite complex and exciting, particularly the big party in the movie, which had to be shot within eight rainy stormy nights.

Besides, the "Chicks" are still best friends - in life as well as in the movie!
And even with the "Pygmies" they get along quite well. Well, indeed there is no love story like in the movie, but they have all become very good friends!"

Thank you so much, Uschi Reich!

Here are some pictures of the premiere for you
